Built from a blank page. Not a template.
Every Ryder Schilling website starts as an empty file and ends as a finished brand experience: layout, typography, color, motion, and the code underneath it. No themes, no page builders, no theme with a logo dropped on it.
What “custom” actually means here
Most agencies say custom and mean a premium theme with the colors swapped. That is not what happens here. A Ryder Schilling build starts with a blank page in a code editor. The layout is drawn for your business, the type is chosen for your business, and the HTML, CSS and JavaScript are written by hand.
The practical difference: the page loads faster because there is no theme framework loading features you never use, it ranks better because the markup is clean and structured for search and AI engines, and it does not look like the other nine businesses in your town that bought the same template.
Design and development are the same person, so nothing gets lost in a handoff between a designer who cannot code and a developer who did not draw it.
What is included in every build
Every project includes all of this. It is not an upsell menu.
- 01
Custom design
Layout, typography, color and motion drawn specifically for your business. Uncommon type, real motion design, deliberately not template-looking.
- 02
Copy and structure
The words on the page and the order they appear in, written around your offer and how you actually sell.
- 03
SEO groundwork
Clean semantic markup, structured data, sitemap, meta, page speed, and the technical foundation search and AI engines need to read you.
- 04
Mobile-perfect
Designed on the phone first, because that is where most of your customers will see it. Fast on a bad connection in a parking lot.
- 05
Whatever it needs built in
Booking, payments, an ecommerce storefront, a client portal, a quote calculator, an AI receptionist. Built into the site, not bolted on.
- 06
Launch and hosting
I put it live on my own hosting and keep it fast, secure and online. You never touch a server, a registrar, or a control panel.

Questions people actually ask
Do you use templates or themes?
No. Every site is designed and coded from a blank page. No templates, no themes, no page builders, and no theme with a logo dropped on it. This applies to every build without exception.
Do you build WordPress sites?
No. Sites are hand-coded and hosted on Ryder Schilling's own setup. Ryder does not build WordPress sites and does not resell or recommend third-party WordPress hosting.
What animation technology do you use?
GSAP, the GreenSock Animation Platform, alongside native CSS and JavaScript. Three.js is not used on client websites.
How long does a build take?
One to two weeks from deposit to launch for a standard build. Larger stores and portals take longer and the timeline is quoted up front.
What does it cost?
Project pricing is quoted per build after a call, based on scope. Hosting, security and ongoing care are a separate flat monthly retainer starting at $199 per month.
I already have a site. Can you rebuild it?
Yes. Ryder audits what is there, keeps what works, rebuilds what does not, and migrates it without losing existing search rankings.
Do you work with businesses outside 30A?
Yes. Most work is on the Gulf Coast, but the process is fully remote and Ryder builds for clients well outside it.
Tell me what your business needs.
Fifteen minutes on the phone and you will know exactly what your site should be, whether I build it or not.
